|***I just wanted to tell you how
much we love your preschool. Aaron has improved and grew in everything
so much since he started with you. I am so impressed with your teaching
techniques, it has been so good for him. I just wanted you to know
that, a lot of people only focus on the negative and that drives me
Crazy! I try to always find the good and tell people the good. And your
school is good, so good. He loves coming, I love bringing him, he
learns so much and we just want you to know how happy we are with you
and the school. Thank you. |
is an excellent teacher that has really inspired my son. He has grown a lot over
the year and has an eagerness to learn about new things everyday. He asks me
everyday, "is today school?". He's met a lot of wonderful friends along the way
that he will never forgot. As the year comes to an end, it's bitter-sweet and
know that he will always have Ms.
Jo's advice and learning to look back on. I look forward to sending my youngest
son to her in the fall.
is a wonderful teacher!! I was searching for a preschool for my son and I found
this one by chance and my son LOVES it there. He has learned so much at Sprouts.
He never wants to leave when I go to pick him up !! A ++++ for Sprouts Little
daughter loves Sprouts Little School. At the beginning of the school year she
couldn't write her name, now she can read and write the alphabet and knows her
numbers too. There is a corner in the classroom called the "Imagination Room."
This room has a different theme every month where the kids are able to learn and
discover new things about the world. One month the theme was "Emergency." My
daughter learned about
911 and we took a field trip to the local fire station; it was so fun! Ms.
Jo is a creative and nurturing teacher who really cares about the hearts and
minds of the little ones that she teaches. Grandma Pat and Eleni are really
imagine a better place for kids: Jo Walter is an inspiring teacher with great
enthusiasm for the 3-6 year olds in her great care. She combines
Montessori-styled materials with a Core-Knowledge curriculum. My four and
six-year old adore Ms Jo and Grandma Pat. They have become like an extended
family. Child-led conferences are another thing my family has benefited from
immensely. These sessions allow the children time to take parents by the hand
and walk them through their classroom. Activities are set up to let the kids
show off all their budding skills. Jo always tries to involve parents as much as
possible in what is going on in the school. My only disappointment in two years
at Little Sprouts is that first grade is not offered. If it was, we would
probably continue to make the long trek all the way from TAHUYA!
you for being an awesome teacher. I'm going to miss you. - Raiden
you for all of your hard work this year. Raiden loves school and it's easy to
see why. The activities you plan, the room you decorate, the friendships you
help foster - it's all incredible and it's helping Raiden believe that school is
fun which is incredibly important. May God bless you and your family always.
grandson Max thinks you are a great preschool teacher and I do, too. I
see your gentle positive guidance and solid educational
background/experience in Max every day. It is a joy to see him managing
his feelings with logic and personal awareness while he learns about
his language, culture and physical world. Your diverse curriculum helps
him gain the necessary socialization and learning skills for the
future. Thank you for giving him a strong basis for learning and
playing with other people in this challenging world of ours.
P.S. Thank you, too for your storytelling fun and innovative conference events!
have visited other part time preschools in the area and feel very
blessed to have found Sprouts little School. We could have participated
in more convenient city and military programs, but they don't offer the
same quality of learning environment. Ms. Jo is an experienced teacher,
who truly cares about her students' success. I appreciate the time she
takes with each child to assess and set individual goals. The
curriculum and activities planned are excellent learning opportunities.
Overall, I am very pleased with enrolling my daughter and plan on
including my youngest one next year.
son was always urged to reach his own goals, at his speed and on
his terms. He was challenged in creative ways that allowed him to learn
both academically and socially. His teacher was acutely aware
of his needs and wants every day, no matter how often they changed.
impressed with the stimulating, child-oriented environment provided to
the children attending the preschool. I also know personally
several mothers of children who attend the preschool all of whom
are extremely happy with the program, with the relationship their
children have developed with their teacher and the
respectful, nurturing way in which she interacts with them.
daughter is three and a half years old. I have found her teacher
to be very nurturing with the kids in class. She is always kind
and patient and does a great job with the kids. She explains
things to them in a way in which they understand, and takes great care
in making sure that the kids are given clear choices and guidance
throughout the class period. I feel that the material presented in
class is age appropriate and very stimulating for the kids. They
cover many aspects of learning as well as social skills. I am
very pleased to have found such an enriching environment for my
daughter to grow and learn in.
my daughter graduated from preschool, I read the Bremerton School
District's Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALR's) to see if
she was ready for kindergarten. She is!
always comes home beaming with something new he's learned. Everyday is
something new and different. From 'The Planets Song' to a fun art
project, he can't wait to get home and share.
